Stop yelling you woke me up, jerk. :D

Only 100 days until the start of the Winter Olympics!

I remember when they announced that Vancouver had won the 2010 Olympics and it seems soooo far away, now it's almost time already.

I used to hate having both Olympics every 4 years because of the wait and much prefer the staggered schedule so I can glom away every 2 years now.

I had a great time in SLC for the 2002 Olympics and would love to be in Vancouver next year but unless I hit the lottery it ain't gonna happen. Oh well, it's still fun to watch it on TV!

Yeah except every now and then I have to think, based on NBC's coverage, that to be an athlete they have to almost die from something then make amazing recoveries to be Olympians. Doesnt anybody just have a normal life???

Thanks for the story link.

I actually think the medals look very interesting!

I did think this quote was sort of funny tho':

"They're sometimes given challenges and they rise above them and the raven does the same. I think the creativity of the raven gives us hope — to accept when things don't work out and really rejoice when they do," said Hunt.

Mammoth's ravens are very creative when it comes to fishing trash out of the dumpsters in town!!
