" pisses me off. It would be great just to see everyone talk about their favorite memories of mammoth, or that beautiful blob 2 weeks out we all hope would dump 4 feet, but everyone is quick to jump on an opportunity to prove someone's wrong. As to the current lack of snow(i hope i dont get yelled at for posting this on the winter activities thread) its only november 2nd. it's always darkest before dawn, there's a nice cold storm somewhere out there forming for us that will open another Mammoth season as usual.
well if someone is politely directing them to read a thread i personally don't see anything wrong with thatbut what is bad is when someone says something like "duh everyone knows mammoth blah blah blah," then "read that other thread dummy!" is when the line is crossed.
I don't think it is polite to direct someone to another thread. One way to look at it is, that the person(s) doing the directing might be percieved as a self proclaimed Know-it-all and it using a new poster to proove it. I do think the poster above has some valid points and I am as guilty as anyone else, well maybe not AS guilty as I take a pretty good beating on here, but there is some validity to what they say.
