Does Mammoth have the capability to make snow on the Canyon Lodge side of the mountain, or is that a natural snow only area?

I think they can make snow on 45 runs if they wanted.
Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say 'infinitely' when you mean 'very'; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite.[C.S. Lewis]

How does stump look at this point? Snowmaking reports are finally being updated on mm.com (yay!) and it stated that snow was made on Stump. Any chance it will be open for the weekend? It would help with some of the parking at least.

I drove a friend up to Main Lodge on Tuesday around lunch time and Stump was completely bare.

Even if they get a few inches of natural on Stump today, I have no idea if they can blow enough to constitute a base deep enough to open for the weekend. :?

I can't see stump open by the weekend.. but the snowmakers have surprised me before.

What's the predicted town occupancy this weekend? Is that online somewhere?

^^ The projected occupancy report for the weekend isn't out yet. Since the TOML offices were closed yesterday for Veterans Day, they sent out the reminder to their lodging partners this morning.

This report comes out every Thursday morning (normally) and you can sign up for receiving it via email from the visitmammoth.com site or call them at 760.934.2712 or 888.GO.MAMMOTH and press "0" for an information agent.

Last weekend the projected occupancy was 10%. I understand it will be about that or a bit more for this weekend. :(
