Dog bites in June

Postby gowithapro2009 » Wed May 06, 2009 7:14 pm

I was working in June Lake today and I got bit by a dog. I tried to call the owners, but they did not come outside (their door was open). Jon and I found a animal control officer and she said she was going to take care of it. Oh my! Tore my pants,....but,.....I wish we had discovered June Lake about 3 years ago. Is there anywhere in June Lake, where you don't have a fabulous view? Not to mention the skiing is great.

Yes and yes, the owner called me this morning, his dog is fine, he was very nice about the whole thing and was more concerned with making sure it never happens again,...another reason why I love June Lake,....the peeps!

Oh but this is a good and timely subject. Recently, (in the last month) The owners of the new restaurant, that used to be Matsu, have an attack dog. It has bitten at least two dogs in the area and the owners of Stellar Brew have a dog that attacked a dog. So what gives ? :!:

They don't bother me, they bother the owners and other dogs that have to be sedated and sewed up. But I will keep this in mind, silly.

Dogs that attack are a serious issue and need to be addressed immediately. Its too bad that multiple
attacks usually occur before action is taken.
