But I know what I saw!! and I tried to take pics but they just look like the inside of a window. Was not hail. I guess it could have been big drops of water dripping off roof edges then getting swirled around by the wind... No, I'm sticking to my story, it was snow.

I learned the trick of taking pics thru a window. Press the camera right up to the glass then it wont give the false focus reading.

The top of those big buildings downtown is probably around elevation 1300 feet as I think downtown is 300 ft already.

So I'm currently sitting around 950 foot elevation. I'm roughly where the 2nd & 3rd section meet up ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/777_Tower

No hail, but not a bad series of storms up here, with occasional thunder and some lightning. Rainfall rates have been somewhat variable, but definitely very heavy at times. Still doesn't compare with the cells that passed through in November.

Can't wait to start getting your Washington reports Sno.

Man, if I could have a place like yours with a stream in the back yard I'd sell OGC and move up there. At least I have 2 lakes within a 5 minute walk.

When do you move dude???

took the 15 minute walk to the car at the wrong time.... Huge cell NE-SW oriented just passed strait through La Jolla and UCSD to the NE, i look like i just took a shower in my clothes it was like someone was just pouring a bucket on me. At one point my pants turned from a little damp to soaking wet in a few seconds, the rain drops were enormous and the dirt parking lot i was in was a torrent of mud. no hail but very heavy rain considering it was outside the main show.

Yeah, I'll be starting a Sno Washington thread when I get up there.. just so I can ramble by myself about weather and fun. :D

I got some lakes, but I think they are about 5 miles away (Fish Lake and Lake Wenatchee are the 2 biggest ones) Streams/rivers ...are endless.
