Yes it broke down so often that it only ran for 2 ski seasons. It was a 30 minute ride . Funny huh ? There is a little cafe in town that has all sorts of photos of it. I have talked to a few old timers that actually rode it.

I dunno what possessed me to snap a picture of that ... somewhere in the middle of the badlands.

Other road stuff.

I must say, I am fascinated by roadside memorials. There is something about those lonely monuments, erected where someone lost their life. Their very existence is a story waiting to be told. Obviously someone very much loved and not forgotten. One of these days, I'm going to write a book.

Skiing was fabulous today on Mt. Hood in Oregon. I was the only one up this high on the Mt. this morning. Tons of snow here and Summer Skiing will be good for sure. The upper lift is only open for the summer months for training.....they will be starting to dig out soon. Last year they opened it up for the second 1/2 of May, I'm hoping they do it again this year. Time will tell.

Upper Buttermilk and Mt. Tom

"Cottontail remains..." I thought you meant the ranch.

So you think you are going to write a book someday, governor? You already started it and just need to sit down and fill in the rest of the story. You better send that piece I told you about to my editor. I told him about you so don't let me down.

I think PG and Pho could easily get away with a five landscape photo spread. You can do one better and do stories and photos.
