especially since it says 11-11-11 yet says they are open today chair 5. I`m pretty sure today is 11-04-11.

Coverage / Depth - Nearly full-width runs with some natural obstacles 8-16 inches.

Yea i think it`s possible they got a little ahead of themselves. LOL You got to admit if they can predict snow conditions and opening a week in advance they are pretty good. we`ll see. Is it really possible someone would do that and then mistakingly post it early. Are they that confident? Seems bizarre to me.
I``ll make a call and see what I can find out.
Nice rain storm here in laguna niguel.

Snow Valley is pretty honest. If this is what they got then somehow Bear blew snow to miraculous amounts.

I talked to maintanance, there is a slight dusting on the hill, no opening today, no snow making on now , they are getting ready to blow snow tonight and a chance for next weekend opening as long as they get some good periods of cold weather.

Nice practical joke someone came up with.

That really got me going, I was ready to bail on work and go warm up my legs for next weeks MM opener.

Ok I`ll go away now, back to work.

looking so forward to the winter season.
Hope everyone has a great one !
Cheers,

It looks like our local resorts got around 5" from this storm. Not too shabby for such an early season event. Luckily temps. will stay cold for a while.
