I think it was around $3.74 the other day when we got gas. At home in the SF Valley, its $3.65, so not too much a difference.

Another observation.Fort Independence was 4 cents a gallon more expensive than Paiute Palace last month 7/15/2011.
Still worth stopping there instead of dealing with the cluster at Paiute Palace.

Stopping at the Paiute Palace casino gas station costs me either $50 less...or $50 more. ;)

Diesel was $4.04 last Sunday at the Fort. Same price at the Palace.

One thing I like about the Piute station is the fella that cleans off my windshield. Nice guy, I always give him a buck or two.

I know this has nothing to do with Fort Indi, but gas is 3.57 this morning at the nearby Arco in Oxnard. Seems that prices should start to drop up there as well sometime soon...

The collapse in oil prices happening in near-tandem with the stock market blowout means that motorists should see pump prices drop as much as 25-50 cents a gallon over the next several weeks, energy experts said.

While that might sound like great economic news, the underlying reasons are anything but. Oil prices have fallen on expectations that the world's economies are headed for a rough patch, which would reduce demand not only for oil and gasoline but also for employees and for things that businesses make and sell.

I'm not picky. I'll take it anyway!

$3.89 this past weekend for 87 unleaded (friday PM/sunday PM stops). Cheapest by 20 cents or so compared to what I'm finding locally.

$4.04 yesterday, two cents lower then Paiute Palace.

It seems much cheaper on Saturdays then Mondays or Tuesday, at least on the last two weekends the price jumped by 15-20 cents between those days.
