At a time when they had a chance to bring in some fresh blood they split Oren's job into two jobs and gave one to the guy that Oren replaced and the other job to Rusty's kid, neato. Neither one is very confidence inspiring, honestly, I dread more of the "same old features" this year. They had both better hope they are up to it, people are going to be extra critical of their performance, and rightly so. Personally I was hoping that the change would bring a fresh perspective that we need up here to return to the days of being a progressive resort. That being said, lets see what they can do and hope for the best.

Best of luck to these guys. I really really do hope they are successfull!

i think Josh and Michael will bring a nice change to things. glad oren and his arrogance are gone. josh has great experience and michael has been out on the hill working in the park for a while, plus he is a good guy. talked to him a few times about it.

I actually expect josh to drive most things. Seeing as he came from mt high (an amazing little park mountain that changes their park EVERY WEEK) I expect a lot.

FYI, Oren was hired and trained by Josh, he is the person who turned the park into what it is today. Mammoth's park has been pretty disappointing the past few years, stale, stale and more stale. Josh will breath new life into it, as he already has evidenced by the press release. It's pretty obvious you're wholly misinformed and don't know how terrain departments run, or really what is involved in terrain building. Let's reserve judgment until say oh, next spring?
