I'm trying to stretch Feb...
Lox this AM... same old story...dry, dry then maybe precip.
By Sunday...the upper level trough will push
in across California helping to bring more significant cooling to
the region. Models are in some disagreement with the progression of
the trough as the Euro is a tad more bullish in bringing in some
moisture to the northern portion of the area. Feel that the GFS is
doing a better job handling this as with very dry conditions
prior...should make it difficult to moisten up the atmosphere that
quick. At the least...expect partly cloudy skies on Sunday with a
more significant cooling trend. Not much change expected on
Monday...but by Tuesday...expect increasing clouds and cooler than
normal temperatures will be likely as both GFS and European model (ecmwf) are in better
agreement for the possibility of rain to approach the entire
forecast region late Tuesday or Wednesday.
