Exhausting trip. Winds were pretty heavy but I got to 1 mile from bishop and got surprised by a huge dust cloud. Hopefully the damage is only in the wax layer and will go away on the next waxing. I don't think I see the undercoat but there are streaks.

Got to bishop at noon and stalled until 3 by going to the casino, the museum, and the jerky place. No chains required but the road in mammoth itself is almost pure ice. I had to stop because of dumb pedestrians and then had to start again on an uphill with the wheels spinning all over the place. The pedestrians are lucky I was even able to stop. No survival instincts.

Glad you made it to Mammoth safely. What did you think of the jerky and more importantly did you win at the casino???

The jerky is good. I lost $7 at the casino and got bored and went to the choo choo museum.
