I used to be with it, then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with, isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to yoooouuu.

There is a dusting of snow on the peaks above me.

I was just thinking a short time ago the sky was looking anemic for clouds but all of a sudden the wind is kicking up and the clouds have gotten dark and closed.

We had a brief down pour from a thunderstorm earlier. If you are watching the Chargers/Raiders game then you saw highlights of the heavy rain and hail that hit before kickoff.

Then the sun came out and it looked like a nice sunny day.

Very chilly few days to end the year.
It has to snow again eventually...right???

Another cell moving into SD now...and the NWS has issued a SWS:

...FUNNEL CLOUDS SIGHTED OVER SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA TODAY...

SEVERAL REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN SAN DIEGO. ONE FUNNEL WAS
REPORTED OVER THE COASTAL WATERS 10 MILES WEST OF SAN CLEMENTE AT
1120 AM. WEATHER OBSERVERS IN FALLBROOK AND MURRIETA ALSO REPORTED
FUNNEL CLOUDS BETWEEN BETWEEN 2 AND 3 PM.

CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR FUNNEL CLOUDS THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON. THESE WEAK FUNNELS TYPICALLY LAST FOR ONLY A FEW
MINUTES, THEN DISSIPATE. HOWEVER, THEY CAN BRIEFLY REACH THE
GROUND AND CAUSE MINOR DAMAGE.

BE ALERT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF SEEING A FUNNEL CLOUD TODAY. IF
YOU DO, CALL YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY, AND THEY WILL
RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. IF YOU ARE A
WEATHER SPOTTER FOR THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN
DIEGO, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE DIRECTLY IF YOU SPOT A FUNNEL
CLOUD.

IF A FUNNEL CLOUD NEARS THE GROUND CLOSE TO YOU, GO TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY, PREFERABLY IN A STURDY BUILDING.
It has to snow again eventually...right???

Nothing ended up happening here, so I guess it all headed south again.

Heavy outflow wind, then brief heavy rain w/ hail. Snow on the SA's down to about 3k'.

Of course! If they're lucky they'll have a few nice puffy clouds just to make it that much more picture perfect in case the snow-capped mountains in the background aren't enough.

I like this one. I'm sure the SA's were similar, but I only saw from a distance. Too much mud from that last shot, around HerE.
