Maybe 2 inches in Laguna today. Just enough in spots to bust out the sleds. We didn't. We were coming back from a family gathering near El Centro and didn't have time/room for snowplay gear. But boy, was it cold, especially when the sun went behind a cloud. Julian was under a gray puffy thing and man did it feel frigid.

I'm not impressed with this system so far, but I am noticing on the VIS loop that its tracking close to the coast and it is cold. That would put it in a more favorable position to throw some good snow showers into the local mountains if it doesnt track too far offshore when it passes here.

Oh, it's coming down good here in north SD, but I had a hard time buying Waterman's report when neither Baldy or High have reported so much as a trace. But maybe it's right.

There's nothing more than on again off again light drizzle but its only 45 F up here at 1500 feet. That's gotta be good for something in the mountains.

3" of snow so far @ 5500', just above Blue Jay... 1/4" rain in half hour this morning in downtown SO. 3 claps of thunder.
