Truckee River Flooding Sunday??

Truckee River peaks at 19.2 feet about 7 p.m. Sunday, 4 feet above flood stage. Moderate flooding possible from U.S. 395 in Reno, east through Sparks to Nixon. The Sparks Industrial Area could be under 4 feet of water. Greg Street south to Mill Street could be flooded from the Grand Sierra east to McCarran. McCarran from Glendale Avenue to Pembroke Drive could be flooded. Grand Sierra RV park could be flooded.

There was a rainbow over Truckee this morning, and one resident said, "We dodged the bullet." The only reason why is that the rain turned to snow.
