April Foolssss

Postby oldskier » Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:05 pm

No more Stormssss threads for me - the last three I started were record breaking - December 2010, March 2011, and December 2011. December 2011 just makes me cry. Someone else will have to start the Showerssss thread ;)

Whatever happens, we will probably be surprised :o

march still has some storms though :)

Too late:

The Dweebs are beginning to notice that the actions of the models are showing more of the usual Spring characteristics. A deminishment of accuracy in the medium range is noticeable. This is typical for Spring as the effects of differential heating begins to take effect.

The weather in the longer range is not as conducive to precipitation for the Mammoth area as the past weeks. The upper jet will migrate more to the north, with Northern Calif and the Pacific Northwest quite wet again. In fact there is a hint of a tropical connection for the Northwest later next week……

I don't care anymore. I'd be fine if summer came next week.

I am forecasting April to be cooler and slightly snowier (35-45") than normal. Spring could be delayed again. Or I could be wrong again :?

WG, I hope you are right and I think you are! I have had a great ski season so far and still see 2/3 more good trips coming...maybe more! Best part of the season is has kept the KOOKS away for the most part, didn't see to many last week or the week before. Pretty much the best two weeks of the year!

Well, don't you just predict the opposite of the Dweeber?

I will be in MM this weekend, so its bound to be sunny and warm (although my last trip two weekends ago was the best of the year. Thanks for the "inside info".)

Hope you are wrong about the winds this weekend.
I don't care if you lie to me, as long as it feels good.
