ok, I'll try. :!:

MH is reporting 4-6". haven't been up there today, but will check it out in the morn when I get to work. 4 or 5 I could see, but 6" might be pushing it. When snow levels are 3,000 ft I can't see that big of a difference there. Typical MH most likely.

Another heavy shower rolling through Mission Valley. No thunder or lightning yet though like I heard they were getting up in OC.

damn, ch 9 is in Running Springs.. looks like they got at least 6", and it's still coming down. It's amazing how this year has been favoring the same areas over and over.

socalmountains.com is having some people reporting up to close to a foot in some parts of the BB Valley. Good for them.. as long as you guys take all the snowplayers this weekend! :!:

They might keep going all night as it's looking like a wraparound is setting up... as long as the moisture feed continues.

SD

SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVER THE MOUNTAINS IN THE WRAP AROUND MOISTURE
AROUND THE PARENT LOW OVER NORTHERN BAJA. THIS LARGE CIRCULATION
EXTENDS ALL THE WAY INTO NEVADA...AND THE INFRARED SATELLITE LOOP
SHOWS MIDLEVEL CLOUDS MOVING FROM NEVADA ACROSS THE MOJAVE DESERT
AND TOWARD THE SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. THIS CONVEYOR
BELT OF MOISTURE ON STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS WILL RESULT IN STRONG
OROGRAPHICS TONIGHT AND THURSDAY. MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW IS LIKELY
AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY OVER THE NORTHEAST FACING SLOPES AND
RIDGELINES THE SAN BERNARDINO AND SAN JACINTO MOUNTAINS. THE SAN
DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS WILL ALSO SEE OROGRAPHIC SNOWS LATE TONIGHT
AND THURSDAY.

WINTER STORM WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT FOR THE MOUNTAINS
THROUGH 1 PM THURSDAY. THE SNOW LEVELS ARE ALREADY DOWN TO 2500-3000
FEET...AND WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT ACROSS THE HIGH
DESERTS FOR SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW THERE. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS
THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON AT ELEVATIONS BETWEEN 3000 AND 6000 FEET
WILL BE FROM 4 TO 8 INCHES...WITH OVER A FOOT OF SNOW ABOVE 6000. IF
THE WRF MODEL VERIFIES...SOME AREAS ON THE FAVORED NORTHEAST SLOPES
AND RIDGES IN THE SAN BERNARDINO AND SAN JACINTO MOUNTAINS COULD SEE
15 TO 20 INCHES.

damn dog... go gettum FR!

Snowed lightly pretty much all night and started accumulating at one point. But still the same totals as reported.

Modjeska and Santiago got some snow.
Probably .30 rainfall HeRE.

I also had to go get my grill cover that blew away last night. Damn it was howling.
I used to be with it, then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with, isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to yoooouuu.

Bear Mtn is reporting 14"+. :o

Maybe it settled some, but I only have 3" at Big Pines... and that's being even slightly optimistic, as 3/5 measurments I took were at about 2.75". Some flurries this morning, but mostly just overcast.

The year of no winter continues, at least right here.
