Baldy says they're blowing snow and opening the tube park today. Mountains look nice and white behind the few low-level clouds popping up along the foothills.

No but heard from people it was quite good for 16 hours of snowmaking. Tonights conditions are way better so they should be able to put down another 6-8" so tomorrow should be great, I'll have a full report tomorrow afternoon.

Nice job, Ryan.

Looks pretty good out there for what it is...... but WAY too many people for basically 1 run. I'll wait for a few more runs to open, and might make a go of it later in the week.

I only took 2 runs, then made my rounds to say hi to everyone. I'd say midweek will be killer.

Drove up to Mt. Baldy today but discovered that I left the memory card behind, so no pics. There's a few inches on the ground at the base, but still rocks all over the place. From what I could see, the Notch was covered in white. Temps were around 36, probably the high for the day, and the snow was definitely heavy. Also looked like any snow that fell below 5,000' is completely gone, and real accumulations didn't start until 5,500-6,000'.

I think I saw one or two skiers in the video. :P

Thanks for the report, Ryan. I have some friends who are headed up next week.

SnS I think the snow on the tables was left over from the last storm since I saw that yesterday.
