No, they got a dusting, I saw it high up at bear and also on ss cam on summit run. There may be carry over snow from HDHR 2 weekends ago around chair 5. Actually as of 6 p.m. tonight I talked to a BB resident and the snow in the shady spots was still there. I know I sound lame but first snow is time to get excited. I was up BB last week for a nice little thunder lighting and hail storm, I just love the changing of the season`s and the weather.
Wishing everyone a great season. It won`t be long untill openning day!
Cheers

P.S. Shifty ( or anyone else) please feel free to move this thread to the weather, road, snow, conditions area. I don`t know how to but I`m guessing you do.

The real deal Freerider.

LOL,right on Malolo  , I knew someone would help. Now can you delete from MM winter topic. You da man!
You and some of the others have to hook up for some so-cal turns this season. Only 110 miles. I know I`ll see you at the place that sucks and MM.
Would love to put a few trips together local.
Cheers Brother

I posted these in the SoCal wx thread!

I did notice SV captioned their pic with "This is the earliest snowfall here in many years!" Too bad its going to be 90 F next week.

Ok , so I guess I screwed up again. I saw your earlier posts. Which I always appreciate. i was joking... " now you show up " was a friendly dig after Malolo helped me out by moving the thread ,not about your weather posts. I sent you a pm for help since you are way better than me at this. Maybe i should clarify "so cal snow conditions "is meant to be about ...where you skied or snowboarded and what the snow conditions are to help share stoke or warn peoples about where to go or where not. I know in the past I have posted current storm conditions in that thread so again my bad. Maybe gowithapro is right. I don`t post much so when I figure out how to delete I`ll delete this thread and post my so cal snow conditions in the socalwx thread.Seems reasonable to me.
I hope this reads friendly
Cheers

You're a friendly.

I didnt get any PMs FR...sure you sent it? In any case only a Mod (Shay) can move things around. YOu can send a PM to her if you want the other thread deleted or combined with this one. Brahm's not around anymore so posting a nude pic of Ron Jeremy wont do the trick. I'm trying to figure out how Malolo got that cool mirror writing in. You can delete your own thread only if it hasnt been replied to and since you replied to yourself that put the kabosh on that idea.

In any case, I read the SV site tonight and they confirmed that the 330 is OPEN! I think 2 years of it being down was enough for the good folks in Big Bear. I like little friendly convenient CHEAP SV. I'm hoping to ski more fresh powder this year.

If you were to believe Johnny McMarketing at MH, they got a dusting a month ago. Since then however, he has been sent to NWS training skool to learn tell the difference between hail and snow.

You know what's worse? Most of the idiots actually believed that, it was 75 degrees down the hill and they thought it was snowing.

Is there a trend these days to passively accept whatever is fed to one?
