Nor here. Definite marine influence.

Check out all the hail. And 50k' cloud tops in CA.

I used to be with it, then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with, isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to yoooouuu.

We thought it was a little humid here. I am able to take off for the hills through Thursday, but doesn't seem worth it today. Maybe tomorrow.

Wow. Put the satellite in motion and there is a little landcane going on over the desert and it looks stationary.

I just read the SGX discussion and it thinks that low will drift north then reverse course tomorrow after midday, so it looks like Wed. might be a good day to looky loo in SD vicinity.

Sounds like our annual summer rain-seeking Julian/79 trip might happen Wed. We usually strike out.

THE FORECAST COULD GET INTERESTING LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY
AS MOIST MID LEVEL FLOW BECOMES MORE EAST TO SE IN NATURE. THIS IS
NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MONSOONAL FLOW...BUT WITH A RELATIVELY STRONG
POSITIVE VORT MAX THAT GETS EMBEDDED WITH A TROUGH OFF SO CAL
COAST. THIS FEATURE WILL PUSH NORTHWARD FROM VENTURA COUNTY INTO SLO
COUNTY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON

So its not monsoonal, but maybe some tstorms?

Cool clouds [but really localized], but cooler and seemingly less humidity today.

Tropical here. Hit a few balls at lunch. Looks like it could develop into something. Photos when I get back to the studio.

Heard thunder a bit ago and went outside and the ground was wet, so I guess it rained but it was pretty minor...

We got rained on in our travels. Real rain. One of my sons said, "looks like it is going to rain, Dad." "No, son, those are just summer coastal clouds." I should have known better.
