Hello there, long time no see!

Hello there mammoth people! I've been on this board for a little while now, and I even got to know a few of you while skiing memorial day and a couple 4th of july weekends between 2009 and 2011. I've been off the forum for a long time due to various things that have been preventing me from making it out to mammoth to ski. But for those interested, I graduated UC Santa Cruz last June and managed to achieve my goal of being hired as a pro patroller at Kirkwood, which is where I've skied most weekends throughout my college years. So I am now living in South Lake Tahoe and loving my new job, and I hope to make it down to mammoth a few times this winter for some skiing!

Thanks MountainNut! Yeah I was MIA here for awhile because UC Santa Cruz was keeping me pretty busy. Finished up my bachelors in Geology and did a really interesting thesis project on paleoceangraphy, putting together a stable isotope record from the bearing sea.

Although I've left santa cruz, I brought my vegetarianism up to tahoe with me! (not vegan, couldn't do that. i need my cheese.) But I'm still feeling strong and being forced to get stronger every day on patrol. Hopefully next time I'm down there I'll be able to keep up with y'all a little bit better!
