Mammoth in 1960

I worked at the Arlberg 59-62 as the barmaid who also did the limbo at night and skied all day. There were just three lifts, one t and one tow then. Anyone remember?

You're new to the forum, but here is the standard response to a post as interesting as that:

"I call BS without pictures."

I don't suppose you have any?

I am so new I don't know how to post a photo. I don't have any of the Arlberg but do have one of the owners of the Yodler and the Arlberg, the bartender at the Arlberg and me at the bottom of lift 1. Tell me how to post this photo?

Sure!

Open an account at www.photobucket.com (there are other similar sites).

Upload your picture, and afterwards you'll see 4 ways you can refer to that uploaded picture. One of them begins and ends like this:

Copy and paste that into your message, and the photo will appear when it is posted.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

I'm doing something wrong in trying to post the photo. I keep getting an error msg "Your images may only be up to 700 pixels wide" and I've resized the photo three times. Now it's only 640 x 480 but I still get the error msg? I have uploaded to Photobucket successfully. Any ideas?

Just post a link to the image without the [ img ] tags and we can click on it to view it and we'll tell you why it's not working.

Nothing wrong with that photo as far as being able to post it.

If you quote this post you'll see the code for displaying the image:

In photobucket you just have to make sure you use the direct link to the image like the one you posted.

I think I only have three other photos and they are just individual photos of me, one of the ski instructors and Santa Claus. They show a bare mountain, old fashioned clothes and very long, stiff skis, and me before I lost my baby fat! Are those interesting?

Lol ... the basic rule here is that ALL photos are interesting ... especially old ones with baby fat. Post 'em!

Psst ... here is the thread I was talking about. A lot of old pictures and good times here:
