McCoy cam contrast/brightness

Postby Sierra Lady » Wed Dec 12, 2012 11:01 am

Any way to fix the contrast/brightness on the McCoy cam. Everything is glaringly white and not just because it's snowing!

Now you need night vision goggles to see it.

Whoa...didn't know what you meant P-Ho until I checked that cam again. This morning it was too bright white and now it looks like night skiing! :o

This cam is still having issues with daytime contrast. Any chance of it getting repaired soon? Thanks.

Bump.

The cam continues to have contrast/brightness issues especially when zooming in. Also in the early and late afternoons it almost looks dark outside from this cam.

Any fix in sight? :?

In the last few days the drop-down cam choices have disappeared from the individual cam pages!

Is it just my computer or is the McCoy cam not working. I click on the cam to see it. My Java loads and all I see is white.

Nope, not your computer. It's been off-line for a couple of weeks and that section of my screen is simply white. MMSA usually types "off-line for maintenance" or whatever on there, but not this time. :?

I'm hoping they're getting a whole new camera which should fix the contrast problem.

Hmmm...brightness/contrast is bad on this cam again. Too bright during the day and too dark by mid-to-late afternoon.

Any plans on fixing this soon? :?

Thanks.

Look at the dates of the white out posts. Corresponds with snow amount over 6" that day or previous day. Maybe don't want to see the new gondola procedure?? I was curious to see the infamous line but it was white...
Just a theory.

Now I know there's not a white out today (even though it snowed yesterday and last night) so why is the McCoy cam not working? Anyone else getting a blank white screen the last few days? Or is it just my problem with Java?

Hopefully they took it down to fix or replace it.

Thanks for the reply, P-ho.

Then MMSA should note that that cam is currently off-line.
