Bought pass insurance for wife last season, she had surgery but before she did she used the pass for maybe 5 runs total on different days due to her condition... We will see what travel guard offers in the next few days, I hope its pretty much a full refund so we can buy another pass, i will post it here...

"Full refund" and "next few days" LOL.

I'd compensate her after the pass was no longer valid if I were an insurer, not before. And pro-rated generally means the exact opposite of full refund, dude.

From what I understand. Last year it was prorated based off WHEN in the season you were injured. Not number of days you skied or rode.

So if you get injured the second week into the season but rode everyday the first week you get noted for only 2 weeks of "possible" usage. As you would be unable to use it for the entirety of the season. However if you only used your pass once the week before the season ends. Then you would only get noted for that last week (In theory) . My understanding is usage isn't factored. Think of it as the value of the pass diminishes as the season continues and you have less available days to ski ahead of you on that pass.

They have no idea how to pro rate it until the closed sign is put out on the mountain. Days used doesn't matter. Your $659 will be divided by the number of days in the season. She should get a refund of the days in the season after the date of your claim.
This is just my interpretation of how it works.

I am not able to enter in gift card info in the payment sceen area like in years past. The payment screen is only allowing credit card info to be entered. Am I doing something wrong? How/where can gift card info be entered?

I posted in the regular feedback forum a few days back. I still am unable to click into the search bar. This has to do with MVP renewal because I was trying to search for the policy information on the Pass Protection insurance. When I renewed my MVP at the Main Lodge ticket counter on 3/21 and purchased the insurance the ticket agent said that info would be on this website "soon". No one seems to know what it really entails. I paid $20 and some people have paid $25 for it. It sure would be nice if the Pass Protection policy details were available soon. :?

Thanks.

The 20% pass cash quantity did not work properly on the site. It only allowed me to purchase quantity 1 for $120 total in extra pass cash, even though the selection let me pick anything up to $24k. I called in to take care of it, but you guys should look into that. (XP, Chrome).

Hey SL, I'm not sure why you can't click into the search bar this is the first I've heard of any issue like that. I would try clearing your cache or updating your browser if a newer version is available. As far as pass protection page. Unfortunately this page is not up yet at this time. Please call 1800mamoth for details.

Thanks for the feedback when do you have this issue.
I gave it a quick run threw, and I am able to select different amounts and have it show up correctly. Did you by chance select an amount and then go back and change it, and the number did not change?

This was on Thursday evening. I was sure I selected higher amounts but when I got to the final confirmation page, only $100/$120 was listed. When I saw that, I tried going back again and selecting higher amounts, but still, same thing.
