Late daily snow reports

Postby Sierra Lady » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:49 am

Anybody else receiving their emailed daily snow report in the late afternoon instead of the morning?

The timestamp on my incoming snow report today (and the last few days) was 3:27 p.m., but when I opened it to read it the timestamp on the original email was 8:04 a.m. :-? :? :-?

Post the full header and someone will have a look.

Have you or anybody else tried sending an email to yourself to see if its your ISP? That sort of delay happens to me every so often with mine.

I doubt that's the case. I have been working at our desktop a lot lately due to some volunteer work I've been doing and receive lots of emails back and forth regularly. I get those immediately.

The MMSA snow report is the only email I receive that arrives so late.

What's your ISP, they could have some issues with our snow reports and are taking a while to filter in. Places MSN will throttle us X amount per hour if we email them to much.
