Hi guys, my name is Matt and I'm an technician for Suddenlink in CA.

The problem we had in Mammoth was due to a carrier problem with Verizon. They had a transport card that failed. Suddenlink is planning a meeting with Verizon to discuss appropriate response to critical outages like this. We feel that Verizon really dropped the ball here and measures will be taken to ensure that this kind of extended outage never happens again. We dropped the ball with our customers ultimately, and I don't want to sound like we're passing the buck, but I want you all to understand the nature of the problem before jumping to conclusions. We did everything we could to get you all back online, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Nice job on all the new presets. But are the cams crashing Firefox for anyone else this morning? Maybe it's opening day web traffic, or an update I didn't know I installed, but Firefox is crashing repeatedly when I launch or switch between cams.

I almost exclusively use firefox both at work, and on my home pcs. I haven't had this issue. (Been checking on them since 7am today.) Do you have a lot of tabs open? I have noticed some responsive issues if you try to open all the cams or same versions of the cam in multiple tabs but under normal usage I'm not seeing any crashing issues at all, in terms of traffic we are seeing about the same as what we had during the storm a few days ago. I'd make sure you Firefox is up to date, you've quit or restarted some time recently (as firefox can be a huge memory hog and crash on it's own if you leave it running for to long.), and also make sure your java is up to date. Hope this helps.

I believe my FF forced an update sometime this week as well.
