The new McCoy cam is lookin good !! It can tilt all the to see the top and still get sharp focus. This is a huge improvement.
Thanks.
Is there any way to adjust the Main Lodge cam so it can tilt up to the top of the Paranoids at full zoom ?

You can see them w/the McCoy cam or at least part of them. The current main cam, can only do what it can do already. There aren't any restrictions that are in place beyond the physical limitations of the camera/location. I see what you are talking about though we would have to tilt the whole dome back which would cause some other issues. The FOV just isn't as great on the main cam as the new McCoy cam.

The other problem with tilting the cam is it distorts the image when you are looking at from any direction but where you are tilting it. So if you look @ the McCoy cam we tilted it (but are going to fix it) the horizon is off depending on where you are looking. (look at the Chair 6 preset for example)

All cams are offline today. Doing some work on them?

I heard it was an early up for Black Pass holders and they don't want us to see it. ;)

seems suspicious. :?
I would really like to see the web cams working this close to opening. :!:
Also, anyone else think a web cam at chair 2 and the mill would be a good idea. :?
Be nice to see if they were making the effort to get 2 open for thursday.
I called and tried to find out and no info given.

Suddenlink is down all threw town. MTN uses it. (I'm on Verizon @ Home). So we lost internet connection to the cams today. Hopefully it will get fixed and be back online sometime today.

24 hours and still no suddenlink internet. But since it's been out for over 24 hours you can call them and get a partial refund when the service is restored
