Forgot my ski poles last weekend, so I walked over to rent some. What a pain in the arse.

I told one of the MMSA employees what I needed, and they came back with a pair of poles.

"Just bring 'em back when yer done."

That was it. No hassles at all.

Hey, I know it's not a big deal, but I thought that was really cool. And as far as I'm concerned, it's banked goodwill, and I really do appreciate being trusted. This is the kind of personal touch that keeps people coming back.

Now that is service!! I had a guy at the valle nevado resort loan me a goggles for a week..(I believe they were his personal goggles) When I returned them I gave him a six pack and I had to insist he took the gift..

That is awesome when employee does that little extra to help out when they can!!

We were working on some radio equipment on top of June a couple of years ago, the snow was sweet but we didn't bring our gear. When we were done a fella took us over to the rental dept hooked us up with equipment & lift ticket and told us to go have some fun. They didn't charge us a thing. I thought that was extermely cool of them.

I have always received exceptional service in all departments at the mountain as far as I can recall... I figure if you pu the good karma out it seems to find it's way back at one of the places I spend the majority of my time...
