I think that's my favorite sking shot you've taken John. I know you took a bunch before but this one jumps and is so clear and crisp. The sun staring is always an extra treat in these kind of shots...

All taken on my Panasonic GH1 (as were the ones from Tuolumne). I rarely regret not bringing my D700 now.
Don't do it in the park.

I was gonna buy a season pass anyway and I still will, so I didn't really get out of anything haha

Great shots in YNP, JL!

Buy your National Park Pass at our M.L. California Welcome Center instead. Same price, but some of the proceeds stay local!

They're open 8-5 daily.

I didn't know that either, thanks for the tip SL. I plan to buy one when I come up for Memorial Day. Nothing like doing a few days on the mountain and a few days in Yosemite on the same trip. Only thing better would be a day at Bodie too.

Went down to Malibu today to shoot some skateboarding at the clover pool...

A young upstart named Kowalski, didn't get his first name, was ripping it up. But he had his own photog shooting with multi flashes...

After this second shot he asked me to not shoot with my flash because I was trippin his flashes...So I put mine away and jacked my ISO to 1250 and shot seq's...

Mt. Hood from Trillium Lake today. The road was plowed in so I went for an adventure. Fish are hungry and there is a small section on the south shore that has melted. Went skiing this morning on the glacier , it was good.

Well, okay, what are the operating days and hours for the rest of the ski season at Bachelor ? Timberline stays open until Labor Day. You should come ski here too.
