Took a trip to Mt. Rose on thursday. only 2 inches of new. Dust on hard pack. But it still worked.
Some of the Chutes were open, but..."a fall will result in an uncontrolled slide" . Um, old guys need not apply?
My namesake was groomed. All smiles for WZ.

Next time, Duke, you need to come down further south of Mammoth to see some real mountains. Those little piss ant hills up there in Mono ain't nothin' compared to what we have south of Toms Place. These mountains down here are too dang big for a ski area and too wicked, too. Nerves of iron, fingers of steel, it is the type of place where CJK gets real.

Made a trip to Northstar. Fresh snow about a foot. Snowed light to medium all day. Very nice, big fun.

I don't know, but I did see Jessica Vilchis up at Squaw this morning. Things were looking good up there and so was Jessica.

I think Lookout Mtn had the best snow....Martis, Washoe and Prosser were good.

Jessica Vilchis is a hostess for Channel 4 in LA. She does a lot of promotional stuff for them and is often seen at various ski areas around the state, including Mammoth. Should you happen to see her out there, be sure to stop and say hello.

On my way down to fish at Topaz Lake, I stopped at Rose. lots of fresh snow hounds and a full parking lot on the Slide Bowl Side.(Main lot was full too). The crowds cleared after lunch, smooth sailing from there. It was a good day. :hai:
