Images of the Eastern Sierra

Postby windyscotty » Tue Apr 03, 2012 12:03 pm

I am starting a new thread strictly for photos about what is happening in the mountains and deserts of the Eastern Sierra. Then, if someone wants to see what the Eastern Sierra looks like, they can come here and not see anything else.

Wow Geezer, that looks like it was taken before the marina was built. I can't get my mind wrapped around that shot. Did you take it? If not where did you get that?

One of my favorite panoramas. The print looks pretty amazing.

CFSD: It's a shame that Courthouse is going to waste.

SnS: Amazing photo! Have you got a bigger version?

I'm having a B&W revival of some old photos. Here's Silver Lake:

Some of the best photography and photographers I have ever seen are right on this forum. I have viewed Galen's stuff and many images of the mountains and sports in my time, just like all of you have. But for some reason there are some real pros working diligently to get the best shots they possible can here.

It is impressive! Never stop because there is so much more to photograph and record for generations to come.
