Merry Chrismahanukwanzaka everyone! This is the last of the holiday gift bottles... Don't ask me how it made it to July.

This is a white blend, kind of complex, but darn good. It's made by nuns. Go figure.

Yer a nun.
I used to be with it, then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with, isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to yoooouuu.

Mr. MPB would find that upsetting.

Oh how I love summer!! Had some friends over yesterday for some swim time... I invited the ones that have taste, and like wine.... Here's my new favorite mad money bottle...

Image

Great crisp summer wine. Fruity and clean. Not cheap, so when that was gone, we hit my new favorite house wine...

Image

I know, forgot to take a pic while we were still enjoying it. Love the Albariño region wines from Spain. Again, fruity but not sweet like a dessert wine. Easy on the pocket book, $16 or so.

After that the serious friends showed Up...

I don't know what thread to put this one in. Or why there are lime wedges floating in the pool... ;)

Nice night for a glass of wine on the patio! Here's another good table wine, a little sweeter than I normally like, but buttery too, really nice. Around $20.

If you like grapefruit you will loooooove this Sauvignon Blanc. Super crisp, really nice flavor. Had it at Sushi Roku and then saw it at Costco! Try it, it's a great summer white.

^^ I was sipping on that last night! Good stuff, one of my few regular bottles (Costco) from CA. It is similar in style to New Zealand Sauv Blancs which is what I usually drink for whites.

Ahhhhh budget season...so many hotels...so much data...so little time...

This was calling me hours ago, but I have a high work ethic, but better 10:31pm than never!

I like the Justin Winery, this is my first Sauvignon Blanc of theirs. It's nice, very mellow.
