I used to be with it, then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with, isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to yoooouuu.

Cool Kickstarter project for an inexpensive motion control device for creating time lapse videos with motion. Right now it's pretty expensive to buy equipment to create this type of motion control so it's cool to see some young engineers tackle the problem and come up with an affordable solution.

Should go in the Local Chat forum, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Mammoth cops find mortar round in condo unit; Navy bomb squad, MLPD investigate :o

However, Sierra Manor Road is where Sierra Manors condos are located, not La Residence condos (those are off Arrowhead Drive to the west of Old Mammoth Road) so I'm a bit confused as to which complex the MLPD actually found it in? :-?

And the updated story with very strong comments below it:

Criminal charges pending in discovery of mortar round

"Hotel Impossible" came to Mammoth Lakes!

In this week's Sheet:

The Alpenhof in Mammoth Lakes gets a T.V. makeover

The Schaubmayer family, owners of Mammoth Lakes’ iconic Alpenhof Lodge, had a little work done on the old place recently, as the Travel Channel cable series “Hotel Impossible,” now in production on its second season, paid a visit to our little hamlet.

In the "you can't make this stuff up" category (along with "already done by Mythbusters") comes this gem:

Little pig hero saves goat.

What good does it do to be a pig hero only to be turned into a sausage link?
