I have a friend who is planning on having 4 cars at a lodge where 2 parking spaces are provided. She asked me where they could park the other 2 cars during their stay.

Is there any overnight parking at Mammoth this winter???

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. 8-)

As far as I know there is still parking available for a fee at the Mammoth Mountain RV Park.

Did you call them and ask? :? (There are shuttle stops at that location now.)

I was hoping that someone knew of free parking she could use.

I was hoping a young rich supermodel would find me irresistible. ;)

I think we both have about the same odds

Photoho is correct. There are signs all around that lot which indicate it is day use only as they have to be able to plow it at night when it snows. I've seen cars that were left there overnight with tickets on them since I cut through that lot to get to my bus stop.

Probably the same answer. Mammoth RV. That said, I know many of the complexes have overflow parking that you can pay for. Mountain Back at Canyon Lodge is one example. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them will even sell parking for a fee to the public. I also recall overflow parking several years ago somewhere on the 203 on the Motel 6 side for Mammoth reservations properties (IIRC).

Mammoth RV is your sure thing though. The rest requires a bit of legwork.
