A Little Help for "Lillie"

Postby gowithapro2009 » Tue Feb 09, 2010 11:51 am

Lillie is about 2 years old. She is a malti-poo that was left on our doorstep with a broken leg.(at Alpen Vet in Mammoth Lakes) We want to fix it and find her a home.We would rather fix the leg than euthanize. I exhausted my resources yesterday and was able to raise 200.00 toward an 1800.00 surgery. If you know of any funding sources, have ideas, or want to donate, please contact me (MO) at Alpen Veterinary Hospital. 934-2291.

We have 200.00 so far, nothing from the forums. We are keeping our fingers crossed and looking at other options. If we can fund this we have to put her down

That is so great! Thank You.

If you want to donate, please can send the checks to Alpen Veterinary Hospital, P.O. Box 2177 ML, CA 93546. Let us know it is for Lillie....or you can come down and see Lillie yourself at 217 Sierra Manor Rd. We have her in a very comfortable playpen upfront. Her visiting hours are 9-12 and then 4-530.

Update on Lillie: After Xrays: Lillie's Leg is broken just above her knee. This makes the injury a little more intensive as tis could effect the patella. In addition it is an "open" fracture. Her prognosis is good. The surgeries after care with the surgery will bring the estimate to around 3000.00 which we have ($2000.00) more than half. :inlove: Dr IS going to go ahead, becuase of all of the forumites donations, we are just keeping our fingers crossed we can raise the rest. But Dr. TeSlaa is going to move forward with the surgery tomorrow. My camera has quit taking pictures, but I will get my other camera and upload pics of Lillie as we go.

Bless you all and thanks! Mo and Linda :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:
