Those numbers are not worth $15 a month yet I am paying $50. You guys really suck. What did you do, oversell the bandwidth again?

National GradeF (13%)
Global GradeD- (22%)

wow SuddenLink really does suck.

Let's not forget their people out in the field are great... oh wait, who cares. Customers just want what they pay for, nothing more nothing less.

Maybe you guys are getting close to the bandwidth caps. Is the service faster at the beginning of your billing cycle? (Like ATT wireless has been doing.) Get used to this it's going to be the normal with ALL ISPs.

Suddenlink has gone live with new usage caps and overages. Suddenlink tiers of less than 10 Mbps will face usage caps of 150 GB per month. 10, 15, or 20Mbps customers will see caps of 250 GB per month. Customers on 50 or 107Mbps service packages will see a usage cap of 350 GB per month. Users of all tiers will pay $10 per every 50 GB of additional bandwidth consumed each month. The company's allowance plan FAQ has gone live, via which the ISP tries to suggest they're capping usage because bandwidth is the same thing as water

It started happening in 2011.. Now most of the ISP that offer "unlimited" home service is caping at 250G /pre month. Not all of them are doing enforcing yet they have sent you the letter in writing. TW, COX, Charter, ATT U-Verse, Verizon FiOS...

Now in 2012 this is the trend. ATT is "throttled" users with un-limited service once they get over 2-3G. You will still be able to use all the internet on your iPhone as you can it will just be super slow. (No like ATT is fast anyways.)

Here's the new satellite Internet service I was talking about but in portable form!

http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/13/vias ... -portable/

Here's the press release for the residential service. It's tiered service depending on your data needs but the tiers are very reasonable.

I'd love to hear some reviews from Mammoth as to whether this ends up being a viable alternative.

Maybe someone in Mammoth should sign up for this 40Mbps satellite service and resell it in Mammoth!

disclaimer: I don't have any connection to, or financial interest in, Viasat although I do know someone that works there.
