Well the good news is that it won't be long before satellite Internet gets a big boost in speed and people in Mammoth get another option.

Last time I called in to IT support I spent 45 mins being told it was on my end, the call ended with the rep saying what do you want me to do manufacture you bandwidth. "

No make it work like it did last summer when NPG was running things... Blah

Sorry Tina but Snowman is walking in a snowstorm to the library so he can use the internet to contact you suddenly.

What would they have changed? Wouldn't they just take over existing infrastructure? It's definitely slower.

I actually started noticing degradation of service about 6 months ago, but it's gotten really bad in the past couple. I called Maggie and she let me know that I needed to call the call center. They had me run some tests and sent a local over to my house to check it out. Nice guy, but he couldn't find anything wrong. He told me that they were getting some sort of bandwidth expansion "this summer." Dunno what that means, but my internet still sucks.

Tried to run a speedtest (http://www.speedtest.net/), it bogged at 1.39 mbs upload and couldn't even complete the test.
