As an avid skier and web designer, i've always been curious how ski areas handle their marketing. I know a lot of the large ski areas/corporations use Ad Agencies to build their sites. But what about Mammoth? Does it have it's own Marketing Dept? Does this Marketing department have a design group? Or is everything outsourced? I haven't done much research, but the only ski area I could find that hires a full-time web designer was Sierra at Tahoe. At least they did last year.

Yes, the Mammoth Marketing Dept is in house. We have a web team, a graphics team, video team, ect. It's a fair sized dept. Currently we have an opening for a graphic designer. http://jobs.mammothmountain.com/career/index.cfm. While we do outsource some of our work a lot of it is to locals when qualified locals can be found.

We worked on it in conjunction with several firms.
