Your wife's old bike is a lot newer than my 20+ year old Nishiki Pueblo! :D

I'd also lower those handlebars and grips, SL. Seems kinda high for real precise DH control on Rock Creek or riding with the Snowman up on the mountain. Remember you're riding in the mts .. not on the boardwalk/beach in Torrance or La Jolla! :!: :P
