Best Place to Get a Base Grind in LA

I'm looking for a shop that has a Wintersteiger or something similar. Any advice is appreciated.

ski and surf - in the south bay -
Bobbie does a great job - skis for sure, boards, not sure

REI in manhattan beach does base grinds.

I've been to both and I prefer REI. S & S lost a piece to my boot then tried to charge me $25 + shipping for the replacement.
I had gone there a couple of times before that episode and was never impressed. Driving an extra 5 minutes to REI is worth the piece of mind. Just plan ahead.
