Will all of the bike trails be opened (from top to bottom) by mid July?

I love how the flatlanders call for an endless winter. I hope it is 120 degrees all summer down south. I am going to come down in early November and pray that it is 120 when I get there. Unless you live where there is snow on the ground for 6+ months a year, you can not wish for winter any time before Oct. 15th. and after May 15th

Please go to the Southern Hemisphere and let us enjoy our short summer season.

I CALL BS! I love living here all year long, but I love when it snows before Oct 15th, and after May 15th. These afternoon snow storms we have been getting on the mountain in JUNE are incredible! This season when it snowed a foot on the mountain the first week of october, what did I do, I went and hiked the mountain and got some awesome early turns.

Personally I wish there was snow on the ground all year long, but that would make people like you depressed & sad

I moved to Mammoth for the snow. The summers are great, but the winters are way better.

You're still green. There is snow year round. Just take a hike to the high passes.

You'll see if you hang around long enough. I don't mean this to be a negative statement towards you at all. Snow is great and that is why most of us moved here. Summers are also great but get delayed by poor weather in the spring which has really not yet arrived. I am all for powder days and feet of snow, just not in June, July, August or September.

I can take you to a place where you can ski year round with very little hiking. Hopefully I can get there by the end of July if the bum wheel will allow it. This was August 15th 2006
