Yeah, you are way into it and have made it a way of life for sure. Pretty dang good food, too, if not the best a man can get.
Some of the unreal deer hangouts I have seen in the past were at June Lake coming down cross country along Alger Creek from Gem Lake.
Esha Canyon in McGee can have some monsters.
I don't know too much about Bridgeport except that it is famous for its deer hunting and fishing. There are so many great places but it is hard to get permits.
Chuck Yeager used to hunt the Walker Lake area near June Lake, because I found his tree carving. While you are out there, check out some of those carvings. There are millions up by Bridgeport.
What about that Lost Cannon Road area? I walked the old sheepherder trail about a mile back in there along the spring, and it is really nice. There has got to be some action back in there I would think.
