Still low tide down low. Had a very special Christmas eve that cost $420. Lucky for me my buddy was visiting family in McCall Idaho, where they have an actual snowmobile shop, and he was able to bring parts back for me. Beware of what is just under the snow.
Still... . Shooting to do a little memorial on the mountain, hoping for Saturday, January 12 @ chair 14. I will be posting a TOPIC with details when it's been finalized.
only a couple more hours and I'm headed for my sled Those out riding today, post up what you found as far as ride-able snow. I'm ready for some climbing
Still looking for a sled, something around $2000.00 that runs strong... Anything more expensive if you are willling to work out a payment plan... I live in town.
It's not a good season to be a strong out spoken snowmobiler. Long Valley resident and my friend Byron Devries passed away this morning. He's the crazy sombitch that got me into snowmobiling and helped me build my house here on the hill above Palmdale.
Today the Eastern Sierra lost a good friend. For years you past by his home in the winter and thought wtf, what is that an ice cone? No it was Byron Devries odd sense of humour. All though I did not know him well, I admired the man, RIP Byron
