Still low tide down low. Had a very special Christmas eve that cost $420. Lucky for me my buddy was visiting family in McCall Idaho, where they have an actual snowmobile shop, and he was able to bring parts back for me. Beware of what is just under the snow.

Anybody in town riding this weekend? I'm looking for someone to tag along with as I might be flying solo this trip.

It's not a good season to be a strong out spoken snowmobiler. Long Valley resident and my friend Byron Devries passed away this morning. He's the crazy sombitch that got me into snowmobiling and helped me build my house here on the hill above Palmdale.

RIP my friend

^No I don't believe so. His wife is Kathy, Byron's place had the ice tree in the yard across from the Cal Trans lot in Long Valley.

Today the Eastern Sierra lost a good friend. For years you past by his home in the winter and thought wtf, what is that an ice cone? No it was Byron Devries odd sense of humour. All though I did not know him well, I admired the man, RIP Byron

Okay, thanks SB. We know his ice tree from seeing it all those years. Kind of wondered why it wasn't going this cold winter. :?
