My two favorite memories.

1. Not too old, but last year my dad got wasted at Sushi Rei on Memorial Day (When it was snowing buckets!), and I had to drive home in snow that was at least a inch piled high on the roads. Lots of ice. Was when I just finished driving lessons

2. I think it is the same 05/06 storm, we had packed up, everything was in the car, we were planning on leaving Sunday morning to arrive ready for school on Monday. Welp, it started sprinkling snow down in Crowley (Where we were staying), and we thought, oh no biggie.

Wake up in the morning with the door enclosed by snow, the snow on the doorstepcombined with the snow falling from the room to cover up our door almost completely. OH WAIT all of our luggage was in the car, and all we had in there was T shirts and beer. So we started boiling snow to make water when my dad remember we had a cig bag(One piece suit) upstairs. So he jumped through the snow wall and trecked to the car to get the luggage, and we had our first official snow day, and missed school Monday

I remember that storm very well. I came up that monday morn with the first shuttle, sat for about 30/45 min. before they opened up the 395. The town was a mess with supplys low that day until they could bring the trucks up the grade that day /night. I love it when the storms pound the mountain all weekend then opens up with a bluebird on tues./wed.
...I was familiar with storms, and enjoyed them, knowing well that in right relations with them they are ever kindly.
