pick another sport -
this season has ( as other people have pointed out) been a realy, realy fun season -
sure,, we didn't get the epic dumps but,,, some of the most outstanding 6 inch storms EVER -
let''s take Sunday for example -
laps on the banked course ,, into some great wind blown next to coyote- followed by bomber runs through the trees off of chair 9,, nice soft corn snow -

you,,, are not doing this sport right -
Just say'n

There might be. It should snow next week but it doesn't look like a huge storm. Maybe later in the month.

Have you been to other resorts? Mammoth is holding very well compared.

Maybe Rust could have bought one of these..

I agree with you M2M.

I never heard one complaint about the skiing this year. Who cares?

The way I was brought up in the old ski school was to get out there and do your best no matter what the conditions were like. It could be powder, or it could be blue ice. The powder just made the icing on the cake. The ice and hard pack made for a better all around skier.

When I saw the old Austrian ski meisters doing perfect 8s on blue ice on the Gun Barrel at Heavenly, well folks, it just inspired me. You could hear them humming and whistling as they carved their perfect turns throwing up icy rooster tails.

They could have cared less about the conditions as long as there was enough snow to ski on. The best skiers are the ones who make it look easy no matter what the conditions are.

I wasn't one of them.

Just saw a guy in a one piece green tighty roller blading on Hollywood Blvd last week.

My buddy owns the apartment building right behind the Kodak. He said the guy was a freak, I told him to look around.. we're the ones that stand out in the crowd and that makes us the freaks.

The storm next week will be another one like the other ones. I total bust!

All of us who have been or lived there, know that there is nothing normal in Hollywood. I have no doubt that Tardman lives there right now. He could have been the guy on the roller blades.

So, is this supposed to be like the March miracle?
