This race means a lot of things, to a lot of people. Tony Hawk, Dave Downing, Pat Moore and Danny Kass.....just to name a few you're likely to run into this weekend. True living legends man. Research it before you get your panties up in a wad about ch. 5 & ch. 3 being crowded for a couple of days = Not the end of the word. Just sayin'

Im sure if this was a benefit to help Lindsey Vonn's busted up knee, you'd have no complaints.

after hearing all the details ,,, ride on -
a bit of back and forth with a good friend, a great day on the hill and,,, seeing a friend act like a giddy little kid from meeting all the pros,
seeing him ride with an old friend,,,
made it a "best day ever"
it rhymes with chowda

To sum up today, it was a really great experience all around. Saw lots of friends that we haven't seen in years, rode a really challenging course, and paid tribute to a great friend and icon of Mammoth. Some great riding Happened, Some adult beverages were consumed, and some cool prizes were handed out. I just want to thank all the people that worked hard on the event and I hope that it's an annual thing. Billy, Jane, and Dawn; Thank You! This was a really special experience and I'm sure Jeff is smiling....

^^^ Same to you sir. It was a long, tough day. I didn't have a great run. Pretty much solid whiteout. But, I don't think many of us cared what place we got, just stoked to share the experience with everyone.

Great article and pix on Transworld Snowboard's site and also cool photos on Facebook of the event.

Loved all the photos. I just found out Gigi Ruf (who was there in Mammoth) and Nicholas Mueller will be in Haines, Alaska next month when we are. They'll be filming for Nike. Town should be a bit more lively since their film crew will be there for a month apparently.
