Quit Work...Go skiing.

So windy in town that it blew our inside garage door open (it obviously didn't latch completely when we were in and out of it last night). I wondered why it was so cold in our kitchen when I came downstairs this morning!! :o

RBS called about an hour ago saying she was having to hang on to the lifts and it was cold and crowded. She's thinking of coming off the hill and going to the matinee.

Sitting at Mill's having a beer trying to decide to call it day. Too windy and too busy. Shopping sounds like an good option.

Skied 3 hours and called it a day. Started out at chair 15 and then lapped 8 3-4 times before people were realizing instead of hanging out in the long lines at 16 , to go to chair 8. Took chair 17 over to 4 and lapped that a couple of times, then headed over to the Mill for a hot chocolate. Got in the lines at chair 2 for several runs (groomers were all good), then decided to take chair 10 over to 5 to see the beginning of the races in Dry Creek. Chair 5 line sooooo long, just skied over in the chair 9 area, NOBODY there!! :) Chair 25 just opened and there was zero line, so went up it and skied through the trees again. People were just starting to realize 25 was running. Windy-cold-too many people-top not open....I'm going to the movies.

Definitely challenging out there but we are finding some good areas. Right now the viz has gotten real bad.

CFSD and I ran into Slamski and showed him where the good snow was. How often do you get the chance to show a Host where the goods are ? :)

Cold, windy, and not much viz at times but lots of fun. It even started snowing about 3:45
