A bit of trivia I just discovered. Anyone know what or where the Hutson Haus was?

i think it was the conference center over by chair 5
-Chairs 5, 12, and 25 are the best.
-I don't care how much you argue, the chair 14 outpost is never open.
-June Mountain is the suxiest ski area in the world, you should never go there.

If you look at the "Old Chairs" thread and the map, they spelled it Hutson Haus. Maybe their spelling was wrong. The map looks pretty cheesy so who knows...

Hutson Haus was awesome. When you walked in, your group would be the only ones there, so if you were gonna brown bag it you had to bring something for the employee to eat too if it was more gourmet than their sandwiches.

It was previously used as a day care center, and before that, I think there was a bar down there.

I think sierra mountain guides uses it. I took my level 1 class there and also geared up for a tour.

I did a few slogs locally ... I say slogs because in So Cal, it seems miles and miles of dry approaches are the norm.

I actually didn't do any riding in 2012 - at all.

I'm going to be a nutcase come November.

You are going to the wrong places, or the right places at the wrong time.
