I love powder, my friend loves the park. I have snowboarded brian head for about three years consecutively with fresh powder and I just can't get enough of it. I have really high expectations for a place that supposedly sux lol :)

On a weekday the powder can last all day at June. It's even better if the face is open but no guarantee that will happen this late in the season.

Are you staying in June Lakes or Mammoth? It's a little bit of a drive to June in bad weather...

The Face will be really good if that Tuesday storm drops enough up there. The base is fine.

You guys need to hit up the Tiger Bar for breakfast if you are staying in June.

luckily I found a room at the gull lake lodge in june lake area for me and my friend : ) they say they are only a mile or so form the resort.....which runs do you guys predict will be open? all or just the top ones?

All the runs will be open and they will all suck. They may have part of Sunrise roped off though.

Please post a little review of Gull Lake Lodge's rooms after your stay? I would recommend Boulder Lodge, but it would be nice to know of a decent alternative should Boulder be booked.

Will do! AHHHHH I am so excited....my friend and I are leaving in a bout 6 hours.....its gunna be fun :) but yeah I will post a review of the gull lake lodge....I have high hopes for it though cause the people sounded nice over the phone.
