How is the June<->Mammoth shuttle doing?

Hi

Was wondering if anybody has taken the June to Mammoth shuttle these holidays?. Is it busy?. How long does the ride take to say the Main Lodge?.

The fam and I are coming up this weekend and staying through next weekend and will probably try and use the shuttle rather than trying to find a park at Mammoth (just the thought makes me cringe!).

Of course the shuttle stops Jan 1 (from what I have read), which, IMO, is silly, given that a lot of LA area schools are off till the 6th. That's not very family friendly. I can only hope this means that the crowds at Mammoth will diminish after Jan 1......

Be thankful that there's a shuttle at all. I wish it was going all year too but it's not and it is what it is.
