Is the path open to the bottom or do you still have to download on J1? If we do have to download, can we download wearing skis and ski off the chair?

Canyon Trail is not open and downloading is your only option with your skis following you down on another chair.

My right knee does not like getting off moving chairlifts.

My surgery is scheduled for May 2. Do you have a date yet for your surgery?

When you board to download, tell that to the liftie and he can slow the lift as you get to the bottom and the lifties down there will help you off.

No date for my surgery yet. Waiting to clear our and Rick's calendar first then can schedule after 4/7.

They will actually stop the chair if you ask them too. The lift operators are great at June. They stopped the chair for my 80 year old mother-in-law at the bottom and the top a few years ago.

But they won't put your skis on the chair behind you now. If you don't carry them on the chair with you they have to go on one of the flat cars. Ski patrol can't ski down the Face under the chair right now retrieving skis that have fallen off a chair. Your skis can be as many as 49 chairs behind you.
